About Me

My love-hate relationship with exercise started in middle school.  Every since I started exercising my weight has fluctuated depending on how often and how much exercise I have been doing coupled with how I have been eating.  I have flirted with eating disorders in high school but never got too far over the edge.  My weight has been a gradual uptick since Sophomore year of high school when I was at my lightest.  I still remember the sweet and joyous feel of fitting into those Size 27 jeans.  I have usually been able to maintain my weight and even losing some by exercising and eating relatively well.  In college I gained the usual 15 lbs and then stayed around that mark for the remainder of school.  The real weight gain started after graduation when I moved to San Francisco and started my job.  I was working 12 hr days and exhausted by the time I got home.  I was on a slippery slope and I knew I had to turn it around.  I have started to prioritize exercise over other extracurricular activities while also trying to find new eating habits that work for me.  I am still struggling on the healthy eating but everything is a work in progress.  Happy Reading!
